30-Day Home Trial

We want you to have enough time to understand how gentle fits into your life. Every purchase includes a 30-day home trial, starting the day your headband is delivered.

During this period, you are welcome to use the device normally and follow the guided sessions in the gentle app.

If gentle doesn’t feel like a good fit by the end of your first 30 days, you can return it for a refund under the terms below.

Eligibility for Returns

Because gentle is a wellness device worn on the head, all returns must meet these criteria:

  • Your headband may be used, but it must be in good working condition

  • All major components (headband, charging cable, case) must be included

  • The device must be reasonably clean and free of excessive damage or modification

  • You’ll need your order number or proof of purchase

We reserve the right to decline returns that show signs of misuse, missing components, or substantial damage.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, please email us at aneesh@gentleneuro.com with:

  • Your order number

  • The email used at checkout

  • A brief note about why you’re returning (optional, but helpful)\

We will respond with instructions and the correct return address.

Please do not send back any items without contacting us first, as unapproved returns may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

United States Orders

For orders shipped within the United States:

We provide a prepaid return label for U.S. customers returning within the 30-day trial window.

International Orders

For orders shipped outside the United States:

  • Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping

  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method

  • Original outbound shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable


Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your headband arrives:

  • damaged,

  • defective, or

  • the wrong item was shipped,

please email aneesh@gentleneuro.com within 48 hours of delivery.

We will make it right — usually by sending a replacement or issuing a full refund.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on:

  • Gift cards

  • Final-sale items clearly marked as non-returnable

If you’re unsure whether something is returnable, email us before purchasing.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.

If you need a different item, the fastest method is:

  1. Complete a return for your current item

  2. Place a new order for the item you want

Once your return is processed, you will be refunded as normal.


European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order ships to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Devices can be used, but must be in good working condition and include all major components.

International return shipping charges apply.

This EU right is separate from and in addition to our 30-day home trial.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you if the refund is approved.

If approved:

  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days

  • Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the refund
